Pussikeskus Oy is one of the leaders in paper lamination and an expert in making and marketing exceptionally durable shipping packages for both industrial use as well as offices.
Pussikeskus is a family business located in Helsinki and founded by Veikko Janhonen in 1956. Our high-quality products have been internationally acknowledged, and even though our main market area is Helsinki, exporting has a crucial role in our business. Our exporting focuses especially on England and the Nordics, where we have installed new packaging machines in addition to package deliveries. The postal services in different countries sell our durable and enironmentally friendly products.
Veikko Janhonen was born an inventor. One legend among his family is that Veikko forgot to cash a cheque of 7000 Finnish markka, and it is still hidden somewhere. Nevertheless, he was an excellent inventor; the Finnish Patent and Registration Office promoted him to the level of A.I. Virtanen, a Nobel Prize winner, and Aimo Lahti, the inventor of the Suomi submachinegun, when recently showcasing the 150-year-old road of Finnish patents. So that these fine packaging inventions would not end up as mere decorations on the shelves, Grandfather Janhunen founded Pussikeskus in the 1950's. Grandfather's inheritance lives on as a successful and dynamic family business.

We use FCS and PEFC certified ingredients in all of our own products.
